What do you want to be when you grow up?

That’s the question most ask of today’s children, however would you be surprised if a five year old kid would say, alive! That would be my first option. Who’s to blame for that? Today’s world is so different post 1975. Drugs and Rock and Roll haven’t gone away! North America is a great place to live work and raise a family. However how secure are we? How many kids really want to be the doctor, nurse, fireman, and lawyer, along with many other glorified professions that we all dreamt of being as children? Have we as a society made that dream less attractive over the years? I’m sixty-four years old from “the old school.” Are my grand children grateful? I’m not so sure! Man and his dreams have backed society into an unpleasant corner for sure! Why have many of our kids become grossly overweight and less educated in spite of our advanced knowledge?
Over the counter and prescribed drugs has become societies babysitter! Power and greed has been the great motivator over the centuries. Illness is epidemic, more so then anytime in the past. The politically correct, along with a so-called new world order has propelled us into an uncaring selfish angry society! . We survey the hell out of every aspect of our lives! We have more self-proclaimed experts trying to convince us on how we should live and behave! The age of instant communication is a great tool for the propaganda machine that wants a piece of the action! Boil it, simmer it, and fry it, however at the end of the day we count the profit margin! Every thing down to health care is a business with a dollar sign at the end of it. We even know how many of us are going to die each year from some form of illness. Don’t asked your kid what he wants to be when he grows up? Just assure him he will grow up?

I believe I doubt I believe I doubt The doubt of believing!

I believe I doubt I believe I doubt The doubt of believing!
Is it fair to give a God, a power greater, the Universal one, credit/ blame for all tragic events that happen? Should we not apply common sense and logic in the natural order of nature? Simple logic says that if you live near water, you may get your feet wet! However if you live near a Mountain you may get struck by a rock! Cold climate may bring snow and blizzards!

Human beings have struggled with the notion of a supreme power for ever and will until it's finished and complete. Try to imagine a world without the notion of a Power Greater than humanity!
Nature in it's infinite wisdom stands and watches the human race struggle on a daily basis in it's quest for power and wanting to be the supreme one.

In our efforts to be God like, God given, God sent, God said, God should, God would. This is a lot effort and brain draining exercise that may cause harmful effects? By it's own hands the human race has been killing one an other for centuries. Nature only by virtue of it's being has taken an insurmountable amount of life! A God at the center of nature or nature at the center of God?
Mind boggling as it is, we insist on blaming an entity that we have not seen or talked to in a tangible way! This will cause a negative reaction in most people, however insecure you may think the writer, the writer is secure in the reality of common sense and logic!

The greatest gift to humanity is the ability to think and process those thoughts, having the choice in choosing with whom we share our logic. Many would believe that others have the ability to read an other human mind! The keen mind may read body language and interpret it as being able to read what one may be thinking!

Do we give to much credence to the human intelligence? Feelings and emotions should not be part of the intellectual equation. Thinking with your head as opposed to thinking with your heart may cause personal terminal damage! Science has made great strides in figuring out the fluids that drive human nature. The human skeleton along with all the internal mass and fluids that keep it breathing is short of a "Miracle." I would prefer using an other idea or thought that may explain the human animal.

Is there any spiritual value in the human skeleton? Is there any spiritual value in the human mind? Is there any spiritual value in life? Man made religions may try to teach us how to reach a spiritual axiom. Taking the breath of life out of any living organism does offend Nature in it's purest form? Nature functions without malice and forethought and does not destroy with purpose. Where does that leave the blame?

We are back to common sense and logic. Could applying those principles be the most spiritual awareness one may have? Science and religion has spent an eternal amount of time trying to figure out what is already there! How important is it to know why and how it functions? Many minds have lost touch with reality and have created an insecure society that does not know what to believe! How much does luck play in our personal survival? Is luck spiritual?
Human natures instinct is to react emotionally to personal and worldly tragic events. Pain and personal suffering is what keeps us equal. Fame and fortune is not exempt from pain, loneliness, insecurity and all the trappings that human nature is threaded with.

Nature will continue to evolve with or without the human animal. Nature is not aware and cares little of what the human animal is doing on the earth. The balance of nature will not be disturbed, contrary to what the scientist may want us to believe. However as human beings we may learn and live by natures perfect balance and live in harmony with our surroundings. Nature does not wage war against humanity, however humanity has waged war against Nature!
It is not my place or purpose to prove the existence or non existence of a supreme being that may sit at the head of all nature and the universe. We as the human animal in our minds and spirit will live in a belief system that gives us comfort that will carry us until such time we return to the arms of Nature.

From the womb to the earth to the womb

From the womb to the earth to the womb
We know that we are born of our mother’s womb. Our innocents while in the womb can never be duplicated. The warmth and safety of a protective fluid will no longer protect us. The feelings we experienced in the womb have past. Life will treat us unfairly as it will. The womb protected us from fear and worry. Our mothers knew this, however had to bring us into the waiting world. Her pain grew moment-by-moment knowing that she was allowing us to come to a place that would cause uncertainty. Our own fathers did not share this wisdom. Only a mother understands the nine months of nurturing. In the safety of her belly did we know peace? The cord of life that we hung to fed and comforted us being freely shared by our mothers. This is love we shall never again feel. We can be comforted knowing that death will return us to our mother’s womb. The path we choose in life has already been written in our mother’s womb. She has unknowingly kept the secrets that we will experience in our life’s journey. How can we thank her for the honesty she knew little about? What we learn outside our mother’s womb has no truth inside the comfort of her belly. Is life as simple as the cord that bound you to your mother? The holy sanctuaries professed by men do not hold any truth in comparison to the wisdom held in the warmth of a mother’s womb. All religious men should kneel before their mother’s and ask for forgiveness. Those who have created a God did so from the purity and peace of the mother’s womb. All dying men will plead to a god for passage to an uncertain eternity. The earth wait’s for all that has been given life. Mother earth’s womb also wait’s to comfort all living things and give refuge from pain and suffering. What will you choose?

Mr Bo-Jangels and The Frog

While walking down Bourbon street in New Orleans we noticed a crowd gathered around a guy who was entertaining the folks with a dancing puppet of sorts. Much to our amazement he had this cardboard clown dancing. A simple cardboard cut-out with rubber bands for legs with what looked like feet? You could not see the thin thread used to hold up the little character. I was fascinated by the little guy and bought one for five bucks. My brother's family laughed saying, that's uncle Moe's of the wall personality coming throw again. My little new found friend was put into a suitcase ready for the long ride back to Canada.
A lot has happened since meeting Mr.Bo-Jangels.That was the name I gave him all most twenty years later. My live in girlfriend has past away since. Mr. Bo- Jangles came back into my life by pure chance. I had forgotten about him for years and didn't even remember I had bought him! My sister in-law mentioned at a family gathering, her daughters wedding. What ever happened to that little cardboard cut out I had purchased in New Orleans 20 years ago? Now I had to satisfy my curiosity, could I find him? I had moved four times since then. I now live in a small one bedroom apt in a 55 plus complex. I had an 18 acre hobby farm sold and bought an other house in the city. Sold moved into an apt. Then I moved to my present address. So what are the chances that Mr. Bo- Jangels will be found? I have a small storage room in the apt and that would be the only place that Mr. Bo-Jangels could possibly be? Only a few boxes are left from a life time of living. Low and behold there he was tucked away at the bottom of a box. Not worse for wear after twenty years of being ignored and left in the dark! Mr. Bo- Jangels and I have rekindled our brief friendship and have since grown closer.
